It’s a blistering summer day in Arkansas and I make my way down the stairs of our duplex as the sound ‘EEEEEEEEEÂAHH’ echoes up the stairwell. Standing at the bottom landing, I watch my son Leo work up a sweat, sprinting on his tip toes while squealing loudly at Daniel the Tiger. That year everything changed.
